The latest generation of Testifire remains uniquely capable of producing smoke, heat and CO stimuli while benefiting from the experience of generation one. Enabling tests of fire detector sensors to be conducted independently, sequentially or simultaneously Testifire is equally suitable for single or multi-sensor detectors, point, or aspirating. Still the most advanced fire detector tester available today, Testifire is UL certified and approved by leading detector manufacturers from around the world.
The product range centres on two core models; the Testifire 1000 for smoke and heat fire detectors and the Testifire 2000 which includes CO fire detectors test capability and, from these, various kit option are available. To this can be added various accessories with stimuli being provided through replaceable capsules.

Additional Items
TS3 Smoke Capsule
Testifire generates its non toxic smoke stimulus from a specially formulated, fluid supplied in a replaceable non pressurised capsule. The number of tests from a capsule is dictated by the response time of the detectors under test and can range between 500 and 1,000 tests. Although there is much more to the comparison than material cost, typically this equates to between two and five times that produced by an aerosol.
See 'return on investment'.
TC3 CO Capsule
Testifire's CO stimulus is unique because, unlike pressurised CO canisters, the CO is generated on demand from activated carbon supplied in capsule form with no pressure or stored CO. The number of tests from a capsule is dictated by the response time of the detectors under test and can range between 50 and 150 tests. Although there is much more to the comparison than material cost, typically this equates to between four and eight times that produced by an aerosol.
See 'return on investment'.
Testifire 25 Remote Control
An optional accessory the remote control is required only for situations where the IR test beam of Testifire that triggers or stops a test is not broken by a physical presence. Typical situations are the sampling ports of aspirating detection systems or detectors with 'virtual chambers'.
Complete test sets
For those needing to work at height but yet to own access poles and detector removal tools Testifire is also available within complete test sets that include these items and which are offered at a price less than the sum of their parts.
* Upgrade possibilities for Solo users
Existing Solo users may already possess the battery batons and chargers that are included within the core Testifire kits. Older Solo NiCd batteries do not deliver sufficient power but the more recent NimH may be suitable depending age.
